Positive Looking Online International Network Event

I love this…the impact of Positive Looking working three years later…….it is so exciting!

“Your course has been the best I have been on as a teacher for children with complex and profound needs. We have a lovely positive eye area in class now and even have positive looking targets for each child for who it is relevant. And the children’s visual skills are improving. I love your online ideas too You’ve had a BIG impact on my practice I especially benefitted from your ideas when we were in lockdown to be able to give ideas for the parents using household style items.” Teacher of PMLD in Wales.

Late on Wednesday night I received the above message. This lovely teacher had been on my Positive Looking Course 3 years ago and has followed my page since then. I didn’t know this. Imagine my delight to receive this positive uplifting message. It was so good to connect again and feel the excitement of the outcomes she has achieved through Positive Looking since attending the course.

I loved this re-connection – together we are most certainly stronger. I can’t wait to see this teacher on Wednesday at the first meeting ! Communicate, connect, create ….. make a difference to children…. a great way to live your life!

A brief update on Positive Looking developments

In the UK I have successfully taken 17 Qualified Teachers of VI and MSI through the pilot of the Positive Looking Trainer course. They have worked with determination throughout the pandemic and their course work has been stunning. They are now piloting the Positive Looking Practitioner course – a marked course to achieve a high standard for the implementation of Positive Looking.

The final version of the Positive Looking Trainer course and Positive Looking Practitioner course will be available from February 2022. In addition there are currently a group of Consultants – Teachers of VI taking the Positive Looking Trainer course in Kentucky moving rapidly towards completion. Another exciting development to continue to take Positive Looking to children in other countries.

There are limited places as my ZOOM account only takes 100 including the presenters so make sure you book early for this international virtual event to bring together the best practice around Positive Looking.
